Some countries need to import workers because of abortion
Singapore, one of the most dynamic, thriving republics (62 islands) in the world, is actually dying. In finances it is at the top; in fertility it's #223 out of 223. 50 years ago it was encouraging abortion and sterilizatio, by the 80s it tried to reverse that, but it was too late. Children have no siblings, no aunts and uncles. It's birth rate is so low that 35% of its workers and 23% of its residents are culturally different foreign-born and its native born population is aging.
Is there a lesson for the U.S.? Democrats want to open our borders while increasing abortions, sterilization and contraception, blessing gay marriage and discouraging the marriage of parents, all of which reduce the live birth rate. See the Winter 2012 issue of Salvo.
